Data Privacy Commitment

At LookyHeer, we prioritize your data privacy. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and global regulations. LookyHeer **never** stores raw credit card details, CVVs, or tax identity numbers. All financial transactions and sensitive KYC data are processed directly and securely by Stripe.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, maintain, and secure our Platform. This includes:

  • Creator Account Information: When you register as a Creator, we collect your name, email address, password, and your connected Stripe Account ID (provided to us by Stripe).
  • Backer Pledge Information: When you support a campaign, we collect your email address, name, campaign details, quantity ordered, and the tokenized Stripe SetupIntent ID or PaymentIntent ID.
  • Excluded Financial Information: LookyHeer **does not collect, process, or store** sensitive credit card numbers, CVVs, expiration dates, or bank details. All card inputs are entered directly into Stripe's secure iframe inputs (Stripe Elements) and tokenized.
  • Device & Analytics Data: We automatically collect standard log data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and page interaction events via cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To process and manage pre-order campaign pledges.
  • To verify identity and prevent malicious activities or fraudulent campaigns.
  • To notify Backers regarding campaign updates, goal achievements, or cancellations.
  • To provide Creators with backer lists for the sole purpose of campaign fulfillment.
  • To analyze platform performance and improve our user interface and software features.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information in the following circumstances:

  • With Creators: When a Backer supports a campaign, their email address, name, selected attributes, and order quantity are shared with the campaign's Creator so the Creator can fulfill the pre-order.
  • With Service Providers: We share data with verified third-party subprocessors essential to our platform:
    • Google Firebase: Used for secure user authentication, database operations, and hosting.
    • Stripe: Used to securely manage tokenized payment authorizations, Stripe Connect Standard profiles, and payouts.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may share data if required to do so by applicable law, regulation, subpoena, or governmental request.

4. GDPR Rights (European Union Users)

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have specific data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These include:

  • Right of Access: The right to request copies of your personal data.
  • Right to Rectification: The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): The right to request that we delete your personal data under certain conditions.
  • Right to Restrict or Object to Processing: The right to restrict how we process your personal data.
  • Right to Data Portability: The right to request that we transfer your collected data to another organization.

6. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS/SSL encryption for all data transit, isolated database environments, and secure tokenized API integrations with Stripe. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
